On her Facebook page, Maricar shared her thoughts about people who make mistakes and how they can learn and still 'finish strong' after them.

According to the actress, the 'pain and shame' behind committing a mistake can also be that person's step towards a wiser version of themselves.

"The pain and shame of a mistake can be the first step towards the best and wisest version of yourself. Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Take full accountability, learn well and finish strong," Maricar wrote in her now-viral post on Facebook.

In the comment section, many have praised Maricar for her mature and meaningful insight.

Maricar Reyes is one of the most gorgeous Filipina actresses. She has already portrayed important roles in movies such as And I Love You So, and All You Need Is Pag-big. She tied the knot with Richard Poon, a Filipino singer-songwriter who is of Chinese descent.

As previously reported by KAMI, Maricar Reyes recalled an old accident she encountered. Back then, at 18 years old, Maricar was driving around Quezon City with her mom. A truck then hit their car, and fortunately, no one was wounded by the accident. However, looking back, Maricar wished she could've done something different.

Meanwhile, Maricar Reyes shared that she and her husband, Richard Poon, got checked by a doctor to see if they have infertility issues. They were told that there was no problem with either of them and that it was unclear why they could not conceive yet. Nonetheless, Maricar has no issues with not having a child with Richard.
