Miss Universe has finally announced this year's winner of the Best National Costume award on Saturday, November 30!

In a video posted by the international pageant, it was revealed that the Philippines' bet Chelsea Manalo won the said award. She was followed by the delegates of Chile and Vietnam.
"To the team and Sir @manny.halasan for the creation. Salamat sa lahat ng nag tiwala at nag Vote! Para sayo Philippines!" Chelsea wrote in the comments section of the announcement published on Instagram.

To recall, the Bulakenya beauty queen donned an ensemble dubbed "Hiraya" crafted by Bulakenyo designer Manny Halasan. The costume symbolizes the deep historical connection between the Philippines and Mexico.
It is also worth noting that last year, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee's air force-inspired costume, crafted by Michael Barassi, also won the same award. Chelsea's win marks the Philippines' back-to-back win in the category.

She represented the country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico. She is truly a crowd favorite and has worked hard to earn the prestigious title as the MUPH 2024.
