- However, she still remains incarcerated for the charge of syndicated estafa, which is non-bailable
- Chito has also issued a statement in defense of his wife, whom he said has been nothing but a good and kind soul, helping those around her

Neri Miranda has already posted bail for the charges on the violations of the Securities Regulations Code, but has to remain at the BJMP due to the syndicated estafa charge which is non-bailable.

Earlier, Kiko Pangilinan, a former senator and a lawyer, signified in the comments section of Chito Miranda's post that they are ready to help.
He emphasized that an endorser of a product is a talent and must not be made to answer for the illegal acts of the company.
He also underscored that Neri is also a victim of the people behind the company, highlighting that one must run after the owners.

The Pinoy entertainment world was recently shocked by the news of the arrest of Neri Naig-Miranda, wife of Chito Miranda, on Saturday by the Southern Police District. The arrest was related to her alleged involvement in estafa and violations of the Securities Regulation Code, as per an article by ABS-CBN News. ABS-CBN News also posted on social media a video of the arrest. In the video, a policewoman was reading the warrant of arrest while the actress-businesswoman was at a convention center in Pasay City.
It can be recalled that showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz, in his latest vlog post, has talked about Neri Naig-Miranda. Earlier, it was Ogie who shared the alleged news that Neri was arrested. New alleged details have been shared by the talent manager in his vlog. Allegedly, Neri is facing 13 counts, with Ogie giving a glimpse of a document in the vlog.
