A “Nerizza Miranda” was reportedly brought to the Pasay City jail facility recently.

In an ABS-CBN news report, J/Supt. Jundelina Jagunap, the Warden at the Pasay City Jail Female Dormitory, confirmed they have now in custody a person named “Nerizza Miranda.”
The report also stated that the said person was brought and admitted to the said jail facility around 12:02 noontime today, Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
It can be recalled that an earlier ABS-CBN report also confirmed that Neri Naig-Miranda was arrested last Saturday, November 23, by Southern Police District officers.

This confirmation came in the light of the statement released yesterday by SPD about arresting an actress and businesswoman they only identified as a certain “Erin.”
According to the SPD statement, they arrested “Erin” for allegedly committing the crime of syndicated estafa and 14 counts of violations of the Securities Regulation Code.
At around the same time, rumors swirled online about Neri getting arrested, though there was no confirmation at the time.
Early today, an ABS-CBN report confirmed that it was really Neri Naig-Miranda, whose real name is Nerizza Naig-Miranda, was the actress and businesswoman arrested by the SPD.
Neri Naig Miranda is an actress who first gained recognition when she joined ABS-CBN's reality show "Star Circle Quest." She was named the 6th runner-up in the talent search. In 2014, she married Chito Miranda, the lead vocalist of the band Parokya ni Edgar.
Earlier, it was confirmed in an ABS-CBN report that Neri Naig was arrested for violations of the Securities Regulations Code and for syndicated estafa. The actress was arrested on Nov. 23 at a convention center of a mall in Pasay. She was arrested the day after she celebrated the 8th birthday of her eldest son. Neri was charged with violations of 14 counts of the Securities Regulations Code and syndicated estafa under the Revised Penal Code.
It can be recalled that on the day of her arrest, Neri was scheduled to speak at a convention center located inside a mall. In Neri’s own post, she was scheduled to speak at the 15th PHILSME Business Expo at 1PM. According to a statement issued by the Southern Police District, they arrested an actress and a businesswoman with alias “Erin” around 2:50PM at basement convention center located within a mall in Pasay City. Recently, ABS-CBN confirmed that it was Neri Naig-Miranda who was arrested by the SPD.
