Julius Babao shared on his YouTube channel the reason behind borrowing a large amount of money.

The veteran journalist explained that the funds were needed to build their dream home.

Alongside his wife, Christine "Tintin" Bersola-Babao, they also expanded their property to provide more space for their growing family.

Additionally, they took out a loan to purchase another piece of land, which they turned into a garden, and to buy a vehicle.
