In the said video, one can see Mercy’s eyes welling up with tears as she implores her fans and followers to pray that she would overcome her health challenges.
The said video, which was posted on the video-sharing site, Tiktok, has already gained more than 2.5M views with over 65K reacts and more than 8K comments. It also has reached over 3K shares.
The same video re-posted by a fan page on Facebook 24 hours ago has also reached viral status with over 520K views and more than 6K reacts.

In the video, Mercy addressed her fans and followers, whom she called her friends.
She then gave an update about undergoing lung surgery recently but she suddenly found herself having difficulty breathing.
“Hello, hello mga kaibigan. Tapos na yung surgery ko sa lungs. Pero biglang nahirapan akong huminga,” Mercy said in the video, which she posted on TikTok.
“So, dinala ako sa ICU. Tapos ngayon, may tubig pala, may inflammation yung lungs ko,” she added.
The Aegis band vocalist then said that the doctors are doing their best to remedy the situation.
“So, ginagawan na nila ng paraan. Sunod pa ang pag-steroids na pinainom sa akin ng doktor para, para sa inflammation,” she revealed.
Near the end of the short video, Mercy, amid tears, asked her fans and followers to pray for her to overcome her current health challenge.
“So ngayon, ipag-pray nyo ako, please. Ipag-pray nyo ako na matatapos na 'to ang pagsubok na 'to. Ipag-pray nyo ako,” were Mercy’s last words in the video.
Mercy Sunot is one of the main vocalists of the Pinoy legendary rock band, Aegis. She is known for her vocal power and for singing powerful songs. Aegis is very popular for their songs “Halik,” “Basang-Basa Sa Ulan,” “Luha,” “Sinta,” and many more. The band was able to maintain their popularity in more than two decades in the industry with their songs becoming part of the lives of many generations of Pinoy music.
Earlier today, the Pinoy entertainment world was met with the news of the sudden demise of Mercy, one of the main vocalists of the legendary Pinoy rock band, Aegis. Among the first to break the sad news on social media was Frankie Ballesteros, one of the band’s key crew members. Juliet Sunot, the sister of Mercy, also changed her profile photo into one that signifies losing a loved one. It can be recalled that Mercy was able to provide an update about her condition a couple of days ago.
