At the backstage, Dyan Castillejo had the chance to interview her and ask her about how she felt, as per the video shared by ABS-CBN.
"I'm so happy that I got to make it here at the Miss Universe...Never in my wildest dream I'd be able to do so. I was just that little girl hoping that you know waving in front of the Miss Universe stage and I did my best. I'm so happy I was with so many powerful women here. Kaya, I know that with or without crown, you still win and as what I have said, there are full of, a galaxy of stars in here, but we are just about to shine."
She also said that she would be spending some time with her parents.

In one of her Instagram pinned posts, Chelsea received support from Filipino celebrities, personalities, and beauty queens. To her surprise, Tyra Banks also commented by writing, "Get it, girl!!!!!" Overwhelmed by the support coming from the host of 'America's Next Top Model,' she shared Banks's comments in her Instagram stories.
