Mark Wei, Ken Chan’s former business partner, responded with a shady remark to the actor’s Instagram statement defending himself against a syndicated estafa case.
It was recently reported that Chan is facing an arrest warrant for his alleged involvement in an "investment scam."
The actor allegedly solicited ₱14 million from a client for a restaurant business, promising a 10% monthly return.

In Chan’s statement, he said he would soon reveal the truth, Ken wrote, “Ako naman po ang maglalabas ng mga detalye sa mga darating na pagkakataon dahil patuloy po ang pagdikdik sa akin ng mga taong gustong sirain ang pagkatao ko. Sa mga hakbang na ginawa nila mula pa noong nakaraang taon hanggang ngayon, makikita ninyo ang intensyon ng mga taong gusto akong pabagsakin.”
Wei shared Chan's statement and captioned it by writing, "Lakas mang baliktad.”

Ken Steven Angeles Chan is a Filipino-Chinese actor. He is also a model and television presenter. He started as a co-host and performer of "Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman." He is still part of GMA-7 up to this day.

He has allegedly asked for P14M from a client for a restaurant business and promised a 10% monthly interest. However, when authorities went to his residential address in a subdivision in Barangay Tandang Sora, Quezon City, Chan was nowhere to be found.
Also, just recently, Ken Chan broke his silence by releasing an official statement. In a post he shared on his socmed account, the celebrity entrepreneur debunked some of the stories he claimed are being peddled about him. He then clarified that the business he set up went bankrupt. The celebrity entrepreneur promised that he will face the cases filed against him and said the truth will come out in due time.
