Boy Abunda, in the latest episode of his talk show on GMA-7, reacted to Julie Anne San Jose's recent viral church performance.

Previously, Julie was criticized by netizens for her outfit and performance of 'Dancing Queen' at the Nuestra Señora del Pilar Parish.

According to Boy, he watched the video and was impressed that the singer still does fundraising.

"Nung napanood ko yung video, si Julie Anne San Jose kasi for her stature, and she's one of the biggest talents in the music industry today, sa kaniyang stature parang sabi ko, 'Nakakabilib naman 'tong si Julie Anne.' She still does these fundraisings for churches," he began.

However, Boy also agreed with some netizens, "I know it was wrong, I agree with the public reaction na parang inappropriate yung venue."

In the video, Boy shared he hasn't talked to Julie but gave another possible scenario about the issue that has gone viral on social media.

"I haven't spoken to Julie, kasi pwede ring dumating ka, nalaman mo na sa loob ng simbahan, do you actually have the time to change your repertoire, to change her clothes?" he raised.

By the end of his statement, Boy said there is a lot to learn from the incident involving Julie.

"For everything that had happened, lahat ng leksyon na natutunan, makikita po natin na lahat ng gumalaw na tao dito sa kwentong ito ay may magandang intensyon at may magandang puso," he finished.
