Julie Anne San Jose, a singer and actress under GMA, has apologized for her viral performance at the Nuestra Señora del Pilar Parish.

On Thursday, October 10, Julie took to her Instagram page to upload a screenshot of her apology to her fans and followers, and netizens.

According to the singer, her only intentions at the church were to "share joy" and "give support" through a benefit concert she attended.

"I am offering my apologies. Even though my only intentions were to share joy and to give support to the church through the benefit concert, many have felt offended about the incident I was in and with my performance which caused distress. I truly, sincerely apologize... This is a lesson learned and it is assured that it will not be repeated," she wrote.

By the end of her post, Julie said that while she is not perfect, she has an unbreakable faith.

"I am not perfect but please know that I have strong beliefs and my faith is unbreakable and cannot be shaken. I pray that we can all move forward with compassion in our hearts. Thank you," she penned.
