Ogie Diaz, in a recent post on his Instagram Stories, voiced out his observations about those who are running in next year’s mid-term elections.

He said that it would seem to appear everyone wanted to enter the ring and join the electoral race.

The showbiz reporter and talent manager then noted that candidates would always say the reason they ran is because they wanted to help the poor.

“Lahat na lang ng gustong kumandidato, ang rason ay para tulungan ang mahihirap,” Ogie said.

He then said that those who say they wanted to help the poor sometimes don’t have money to fund their campaign, adding that this is one thing he doesn’t understand.

“Tutulungan mo ang mahihirap tapos ikaw walang pondo para sa kampanya,” the showbiz reporter and talent manager said.
“Di ko gets,” Ogie concluded in his post.

In a separate post recently, Ogie reminded the public about the proliferation of fake news. This was after rumors about the supposed axing of Barbie Imperial from FPJ's Batang Quiapo. The rumor was later debunked by ABS-CBN. Ogie also named several news sites who are known to report authentic news.

Previously, Ogie also posted on Facebook a photo of him with James Reid. In the snapshot, Ogie and James could be seen posing for a selfie. In the caption, Ogie dubbed himself and James "two former managers." The showbiz vlogger and columnist also thanked James for granting an interview with him.
