Lloyd Cadena's mother, Lorita, was recently invited for a much-needed interview at Toni Gonzaga's 'Toni Talks' on YouTube.

During the interview, Lorita shed some light on her son's untimely passing back in 2020, which netizens assumed was due to COVID-19.

Recalling the situation, Lorita revealed Lloyd did not pass away due to COVID-19 but due to a heart attack, finally clarifying the cause of death.

"Nag-iisa lang siya nun, siguro natakot din siguro siya kaya na-trigger. Hindi naman sinabi na COVID ang ikinamatay eh. Heart attack," she said.

Upon hearing this, Toni asked if Lloyd already had any underlying conditions prior COVID-19.

"Ah, yun po ang cause of death niya. Meron na po ba siyang underlying na condition bago siya magkaroon ng COVID?" Toni asked Lorita in the video.

According to Lorita, or 'Mother Kween' as netizens would call her, Lloyd was already taking medicine for maintenance with his sugar and high blood.

"Hindi ko alam na may sakit siya sa heart pero nagme-maintenance na siya sa sugar, sa high blood, yung mga ganun," she explained in the interview.

Lloyd Cadena was one of the most famous vloggers in the Philippines. He had millions of subscribers on YouTube. Lloyd was also among the pioneers of the Filipino YouTube Community. He was popularly known as "Kween LC" and became famous for his "LC Learns" blogs.

As previously reported by KAMI back in 2020, Lloyd Café Cadena passed away on Friday. The confirmation came from the official Facebook page of Cadena after the rumors about his death circulated on social media. However, the real reason behind his untimely passing was not disclosed yet.

Meanwhile, Vice Ganda recently apologized to the late YouTuber Lloyd Cafe Cadena on his social media account. It can be recalled that the Filipino YouTuber suddenly passed away on Friday, September 4, much to the shock of the online community. His sudden passing was confirmed on his official page on the social networking site, Facebook.
