In a lengthy post, Kris revealed her exact illnesses, as well as the reason why she wanted to go home and be with her family, cousins and friends.

"The reason I decided to go home is because i need to start my second immunosuppressant infusions in 2-3 weeks (it’s a gentler term for chemotherapy). Emotionally i need the encouragement and unwavering faith my sisters & cousins, closest friends, and trusted team of doctors can provide…"

She also gave an indication that she’s going home to the Philippines. She did not give any indication as to when she would go home, though her post contained the location “LAX,” which many took to mean as Los Angeles International Airport.
