Carla Abellana, an animal welfare advocate, took to social media and fondly expressed that she is an aspin lover.

In an Instagram post, the “Widows’ War” star shared a carousel of photos of herself with her with her fur baby named Fly.

In the caption, the Kapuso actress wrote, “I am Carla Abellana and i am a PROUD Aspin lover, advocate, adopter, fosterer and furmom.”

“This is my very own silly girl, Fly. @pawsphilippines rescued her and her brother, Wing, a few years ago and I immediately adopted the two of them. Sadly, Wing passed away just a few months after,” she narrated.

She went on to proudly reveal that the adorable dog is an aspin.

“Fly Fly may look like she has a particular breed (she can be mistaken for a shih tzu, actually), but she and i are proud to say she is an Aspin, or an Aspin-mix.”

“Regardless, dog breeds do not matter to us. Because for us, all dogs are one and the same,” Carla continued.

“By the way, Fly is looking forward to joining President @pandaongpaucoescudero‘s Aspin Society Elite!” said Carla, who was referring to Heart Evangelista’s pet dog Panda.

Carla concluded her post by writing a postscript addressed to establishments with “pet-friendly” advertisements.

“P.S. Dear establishments, please do not advertise as “pet friendly” if in fact you are breed-particular. Thank you.”

Carla Abellana is an actress and endorser who works for GMA. She used to be married to fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez. Before entering showbiz, she graduated with honors from De La Salle University with a degree in psychology.
