Arnold Clavio shared a heartfelt post on the first death anniversary of veteran broadcast journalist Mike Enriquez.

Igan paid tribute to Mike, who passed away last year after battling prolonged complications from several medical issues.

In his post on Instagram, Arnold shared a video of him, Mike, and Vicky Morales from 20 years ago. The video shows Mike introducing Igan as the new ‘Saksi’ anchor.

“EHEM! Ngayong araw ay isang taon na nang iwan tayo ni Ama , Mike Enriquez,” Arnold wrote in the caption.

As per Igan, he still mourns the loss of Mike up to this day.

“Hanggang ngayon, nararamdaman ko pa rin ang pangungulila sa kanyang pagkawala. Iniisip ko na lang ay nasa ospital lang siya o kaya ay nagbabakasyon kasama si Tita Babes.”

He went on to thank the late newscaster for his guidance.

“Hanggang ngayon, nararamdaman ko pa rin ang pangungulila sa kanyang pagkawala. Iniisip ko na lang ay nasa ospital lang siya o kaya ay nagbabakasyon kasama si Tita Babes.”

“Ang kanyang tinig at istilo nang pagbabalita ay mananatili sa isip at puso ng marami sa matagal na panahon. Ama, rest in peace,” Igan added.

Arnold also reiterated the statement of GMA with regards to the two executives allegedly involved in the issue.

Arnold Clavio is mourning the passing of sports journalist Chino Trinidad. Chino succumbed to a heart attack last July, his daughter Floresse confirmed to GMA News Online. Following the heartbreaking news, Arnold posted a screenshot of his conversation with his fellow reporter on June 15. In the caption, Igan also penned a heartfelt farewell message to Chino, where he asked the late journalist to greet Mike Enriquez for them.
