Doug Kramer, a well-known celebrity in the Philippines, is mourning the passing of their good friend, Raymond Ko, on social media.

On Saturday, August 24, Doug took to his Instagram to pen a lengthy message about Raymond.

According to Doug, deaths have been "hitting too close to home" and "close to our hearts" lately.

"Is it just me, or deaths have been hitting too close to home, close to our hearts more recently? We just lost a loyal, faithful, and loving friend, Raymond. So much uncertainty in life. First pic was us just last Sunday, in Davao. Then tomorrow, he will be laid to his final resting place," he said.

He then dedicated a lengthy message for Raymond, saying they will miss him doing makeup for the family and for being with Cheska.

"For Mond, and this for others to know. That you are greatly appreciated by our family. We will miss you doing the makeup for the family for shoots. We will miss you being the "odd" one out during all our Christmas and New Year celebrations. We will miss you in our weekly Bible study group. We will miss the trips with you for work, acting as an all in one, makeup artist/videographer/photographer/bodyguard/masahista ni Chex. You were always welcome in our home, you were part of the family," he wrote.

Cheska Garcia and Doug Kramer tied the knot on Oct. 9, 2008, at the Blue Leaf Events Place in McKinley Hill, Taguig City. Their closest friends and family attended the event. They have three adorable kids – Clair Kendra Kramer, Scarlett Louvelle Kramer, and Gavin Phoenix Kramer.
