Vice Ganda mourns loss of his furbaby Chip In: "Been crying since morning"

- According to Vice, Chip was there for him through the ups and downs in his life

- He then recalled not asking Chip to give up when the latter got sick eventually

Vice Ganda, in his latest online post, penned a heartbreaking note about the passing of his furbaby, Chip, which was Vice's first pet.

On Thursday, August 22, Vice took to his Instagram page, @praybeytbenjamin, to upload a photo he had taken with his furbaby.

According to Vice, Chip has been with him for more than 6 years and that Chip was his first pet.

"My Dearest Chip In, you have been with me for more than 6 years. You were my first fur baby. You were my source of joy when I was so down. You made me look forward to coming home from a very exhausting day. You stayed beside me when I was lonely. You listened to me when I was upset. You kissed me when I was crying," Vice wrote.

In his post, the Kapamilya star said when Chip got sick, he asked his furbaby to fight because he was not ready to lose him just yet.

"When you were sick, I asked you to fight because I was not ready to lose you. I was too weak. It would break me. And you made sure to survive. We were so happy. I knew you fought hard enough to stay with me. But today i guess it’s really time to say goodbye and let you run and play in heaven. I'm so sad. Been crying since morning. I didn't know that losing a fur baby would hurt this much. I realized you were not just a dog. You were my baby. My family. My true friend. You gave me so much love. And I loved you with all my heart. I thank God for you," he wrote.

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.

As previously reported by KAMI, Vice Ganda, during one "It's Showtime's" episode, mentioned Billy Crawford. On Instagram, ABS-CBN uploaded a video of the clip from the noontime show. In the video, Vice recalled Billy randomly calling him once and asked where he was.

Meanwhile, Vice Ganda tearfully gave a message to Ryan Bang on "It's Showtime." Earlier, Ryan finally proposed to his girlfriend, Paola Huyong. The successful proposal prompted Ryan and his co-hosts to rejoice. Among them was Vice who recalled details about Ryan's proposal.
