Niño Muhlach appeared in the senate hearing on Wednesday, August 7 on the policies of television networks and artist management agencies in relation to complaints of abuse and harassment.

The former child wonder broke down in tears as he relayed before the Senate his child Sandro Muhlach’s alleged traumatic experience in the hands of the two independent contractors of GMA.

After giving an emotional statement, the celebrity dad had a blood pressure shoot up.

Sandro Muhlach, whose full name is Allessandro Martinno M. Muhlach, is the eldest son of veteran actor and former child star Niño Muhlach. He started as a theatre actor when he was 13 years old and he is now a Kapuso artist.

Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz's camp has issued a statement on Sandro Muhlach's complaint against the two GMA independent contractors. In a "Chika Minute" report on "24 Oras" on Thursday, Nones and Cruz's legal counsel Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque said her clients are deeply saddened by the "serious allegations" hurled against them. Abraham-Garduque said the "allegations do not mirror the true accounts of the event" and that they will respond to the complaint in a proper forum.
