The company, through its Vikings Luxury Buffet, SM Megamall page congratulated the Olympian, and also made the announcement.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Angelita shared how blissful she was when it was announced that Yulo won the gold for floor exercise in Olympic gymnastics at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She also admitted that she became emotional due to her grandson's gold medal win. Yulo's triumph marked the Philippines' first medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, making him the second Filipino Olympic gold medalist after weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz.

In a video by Mark Anthony Torcelino, Mark Andrew, said he is happy about Carlos' triumph. He also shared that his son sacrificed blood and sweat during his journey to Olympic gold.
