Judy Ann Santos, a famous veteran actress, paid her respects to Lily 'Mother Lily' Monteverde after the latter passed away at the age of 84.

On her Instagram page, @officialjuday, she recalled her last photo and moment with Mother Lily and remembered how tight their hug was.

According to Juday, all her firsts in show business was under Mother Lily, and that the latter was the only producer to trust and invest in her.

"My dearest mother Lily.. if I remember it right, this was our last photo together when we had our meeting for your biopic before the pandemic happened.. I could still remember how tight you embraced me when I arrived.. all my firsts in showbizness was under you. My first teleserye “Kaming Mga Ulila” and the only producer na sumugal sa amin ni Gladys para gawin ang pelikulang “Sana Naman”.. and the rest is history," she wrote.

In her post, Juday said Mother Lily colored the lives of a lot of people in the industry that the latter loved and cherished very deeply with her heart.

"Ginawa mong makulay ang buhay ng maraming tao sa industriyang ito na minahal mo ng sobra sobra.. and for that.. I will forever be grateful for your trust and love.. andito ako sa industriyang to, dahil sayo.. thank you mother.. fly high and enjoy walking around the heavens with father.. we love you soo much!" she wrote.

Judy Ann Santos is a Filipino actress, TV personality, and restaurateur. She began her entertainment career as a child actress. She had her professional television debut in Kaming Mga Ulila before making her cinema debut in Silang Mga Sisiw Sa Lansangan, where she played a supporting role as part of the cast. Her performance in Mara Clara brought her to stardom.
