Carlos Yulo, also known by his nickname as Caloy, recently gave an emotional message to all Pinoys after he won his second Olympic gold medal.

It can be recalled that Caloy won his first Olympic gold in the Men’s Floor Exercise segment of the artistic gymnastics competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
It also marked the first time that the country won a medal from any gymnastics event in an Olympic competition.
At the time, Caloy was getting prepped for another event, the Men’s Vault competition, which also had him as a contender for the gold medal.

After also dominating the Men’s Vault competition, the country again experienced another historic milestone with another Olympic gold medal from the same athlete.
In a subsequent interview with GMA News, Caloy thanked everyone, particularly Kapuso viewers, for staying up late to watch him compete in those events.
He also thanked those who prayed for him and followed his every move.
“Gusto kong magpasalamat sa pagpupuyat ninyo grabe po, sa pagtake ng time po mga Kapuso na ipagdasal ako, panoorin, subaybayan, maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” Caloy said.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist then told everyone not to lose hope and always thank the Almighty for what one has.
He then asked everyone to take care of themselves.
“Wag tayong mawalan ng pag-asa, magpasalamat tayo sa Diyos kung anong meron tayo. Yeah, God bless us all and mag-ingat po tayong lahat,” Caloy said.
Carlos Yulo is a Filipino artistic gymnast known for his exceptional skills and achievements in gymnastics. He gained international recognition for his performances in various competitions, particularly in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He has now brought home the first gold medal in gymnastics of the Philippines in the Olympics.
It can be recalled that Caloy secured his second gold medal at the Olympics 2024. He secured his gold medal after earning a score of 15.116 for his two vaults. Yulo overtook Harry Hepworth of Great Britain who scored 14.949. It is worth noting that Carlos is the first Filipino male athlete to bag a gold for the country.
Caloy's GF, Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose, also immediately gave her message after her beau's second gold win. Chloe has been supporting Caloy fully at every turn up to the time he won his first and second gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
