Hidilyn Diaz took to IG and shared a lovely photo of her and Carlos Yulo.

She expressed how proud she was of the Olympian who bagged a gold medal for the Philippines at the Paris Olympics 2024.

She wrote a heartfelt message for him in the caption, telling Carlos that she, his Ate Haidie, would always be there for him.

She also reminded him to always give back to God and country.

"Para sa iyo Caloy," Hidilyn began in her message for the new Olympic champion.

"Proud ako sa iyo. I enjoy mo ang bunga ng pinagpaguran mo. At lagi mong ibabalik - sa Diyos at bayan, dahil lahat ng tagumpay natin ay hindi pansarili," the 2020 Tokyo Olympics weightlifting gold medalist added.

She then thanked Carlos for doing very well for God and country.

"Salamat sa lahat ng maganda at mabuting ginagawa at gagawin mo pa para sa Diyos at bayan!" the weightlifter said.

Near the end of her post, the weightlifting champion once again congratulated Carlos and assured him she would always be there if he needed any help.

"Congratulations! Nandito lang ang Ate Haidie mo para sa iyo lagi!" Hidilyn said.

Carlos Yulo is a Filipino artistic gymnast known for his exceptional skills and achievements in gymnastics. He gained international recognition for his performances in various competitions, particularly in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He has now brought home the first gold medal in gymnastics of the Philippines in the Olympics.

Recently, Caloy's girlfriend, Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose, posted a meaningful message for the Olympian champion’s mom. In her post, she promised to hold the hand of Caloy’s mom when she says her piece. She said, however, they would first finish the vault finals of Caloy, and then asked the elder Yulo to turn off her comment section for the meantime. It can be recalled that before the Olympic gold medalist bagged the award, his mom posted on socmed a photo of a Japanese gymnast and appeared to root for the latter.

It can be recalled that Caloy bagged a gold for the Philippines at the Paris Olympics 2024. The Olympian ruled the men's floor exercises of the artistic gymnastics competition. Because of this, he is set to receive lavish rewards both in monetary and real estate form. He will receive a cash prize of P10,000,000 from the government, a house and lot, and a condominium unit as pledged by a property developer.
