He was on his way home from a taping but was caught by the heavy rains and the flood on the road.

His first post was that he has been on the road for five hours already.

"Packed up at 2:30pm and have been stranded here for 5 hours. The roads are impassable due to waist-deep flooding, and my car has malfunctioned from the water I had to drive through earlier. It’s nighttime now, and I haven’t eaten. I guess we definitely shouldn’t have gone to work today."

In a succeeding post, it was there that he revealed that it was already 17 hours.

"Stranded for 17 hours now coming from taping yesterday. Naiiyak na ako. The tow truck can’t get through, and my anxiety is kicking in. I just want to go home."

Michael de Mesa took to social media to pen a post about Cherie Gil's remains. He clarified that his late sister was cremated in New York, but her ashes are in different places now. Most of her ashes were with her parents, siblings, and children. Some of Cherie's ashes were scattered in a place Bukidnon, her favorite place.
