Barbie Forteza certainly didn’t mind the lavish gown she’s wearing just so she could help fellow Kapuso star, Herlene Budol.

In a video posted by netizen @Cordel2022 on the social media platform ‘X’, one can see Barbie graciously greeting the audience.

Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, Barbie noticed Herlene slumped on one side of the stage.

The look of genuine concern was immediately seen on Barbie’s face as she stopped making kissing gestures to the audience, pulled up the lower part of her gown and ran towards Herlene.

It turned out that Herlene tripped while walking and greeting the audience, causing her to stumble and fall down.

Seeing her fellow Kapuso star slumped on stage, Barbie wasted no time in immediately stopping her ramp walk and running to help Herlene.

Netizens lauded the actress for breaking protocol to help a fellow actress.

“Barbie Is So Sweet Helping Herlen Budol To Get Up,” captioned the netizen who posted the video on ‘X’.

“I'm not a fan of Barbie, but seeing her kind act makes me amazed at her ,” wrote another netizen.

“Si barbie daw pinakamabait na kapuso,” chimed yet another netizen.

Barbie Forteza is a Kapuso actress known for her excellent performance in the series Nita Negrita, The Half Sisters, That's My Amboy, Inday Will Always Love You, Anak ni Waray vs. Son of Biday, and many others. It was 2009 when Barbie Forteza entered showbiz and the first project given to her was to play the role of young Jodi in the local adaptation of the popular Korean drama Stairway to Heaven.

Recently, Barbie amused fans when she once again appeared as a guest host on “It’s Showtime.” During the show’s segment, “Tawag Ng Tanghalan,” Barbie sang the song ‘Meron Ba?’ after she was prompted by Vice Ganda. She was in the zone and was even closing her eyes while singing when all of a sudden, Ryan Bang sounded the gong, signaling that a competitor has been eliminated from the competition.

Meanwhile in a social media post, Barbie and Jak Roberto marked their monthsary on their respective pages and posted some sweet messages for each other. On Instagram Stories, Jak affectionately greeted Barbie, whom she called "Madam." The actress later reposted Jak's post and endearingly replied to her "mahal."
