Jhong Hilario took to Instagram and re-shared a throwback photo with Chino Trinidad.
In the re-shared post, it highlighted how the late veteran sports journo became an instrumental force in promoting the city of Makati.
The post recalled the time when Chino was commissioned to create a documentary highlighting Poblacion, Makati's cultural heritage.
"In 2018, we commissioned @manolofrommanila to produce a documentary on Poblacion, makati's cultural heritage. Together, we came up with a series of four features, which we still use to this day. Although, he was known more for his sports journalism, he also had a passion for Filipino history and culture, and helped us promote Makati through his cabel channel @official.pilipinashd."

Virgilio Viernes Hilario Jr., also known as Jhong Hilario, is a Filipino actor, dancer, and politician. He is part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He was known for the role of Homer "Alakdan" Adlawan in "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano." Jhong is one of the hosts of the Kapamilya noontime show, "It's Showtime." He is also currently serving as a councilor of Makati City from its 1st district since 2016.
In a previous post on social media, Jhong thanked the 'Madlang Kapuso' for their warm welcome. On Saturday, April 6, Jhong uploaded a heartwarming 'family' photo he took with his co-hosts and staff. Following this news, Jhong penned a short but sweet note for their viewers on GMA-7. At the end of his caption, Jhong even used the hashtag "#ItsShowtimeAtYourService."
In another previous post on Instagram, Jhong shared a video of his daughter Sarina singing the song "Fly me to the moon." Earlier, her parents brought her to a recording studio where she appeared very happy as she sang. The song "Fly Me To The Moon" is one of the first songs learned by the little girl and would often sing even when she was only one year old. Meanwhile, Sarina earned praises from netizens with her first music video at the age of two.
