Chinese national na may pekeng birth certificate, nahuling nag-aapply ng passport sa Davao City

- NBI has caught a man with an allegedly fake birth certificate and was trying to apply a passport in Davao

- The Chinese national, identified by NBI as Hanlin Qiu, was apprehended as he was trying to apply for a PH passport

- The name that he was carrying was Hengson Lemosnero, and ABS-CBN reported that he was among the 200 Chinese who allegedly acquired fake birth certificates in the country

- He allegedly acquired the said fake document from the municipal civil registry of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur

Hengson Lemosnero, identified by the NBI as Hanlin Qiu, a Chinese national with an alleged fake birth certificate was apprehended by the NBI after he tried applying for a Philippine passport in Davao City.

According to ABS-CBN, he was among the 200 Chinese nationals who allegedly acquired fake birth certificates.

The crackdown on these foreign nationals intensified when it was revealed in the senate inquiry that suspended Bamban Mayor Alice Guo's real name is allegedly Guo Hua Ping.

Alice Leal Guo is the Mayor of the Municipality of Bamban, Tarlac. She won as mayor during the national elections in 2022. She became known nationwide after her name was dragged into the ongoing Senate investigations regarding Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations or (POGO) and the alleged proliferation of illegal immigrants. Her name has been the subject of many online memes since then. Now, the Senate has ordered her arrest for not attending the hearings.

In a related article published last year, social media influencer Madam Kilay previously aired her sentiments about some vloggers who promote betting online. According to her, these people should stop doing so as they already earn from posting content. It didn't take long for her post to go viral on the said social media platform. She even created a new video, highlighting her thoughts about the matter.

In another related news posted several years ago, DOLE confirmed that the number of Chinese illegal workers in the Philippines appeared to have increased. Philippine senators, at the time, expressed their opinion about the matter. They said the government should be stricter in granting permits.
