Lea Salonga reacts to BINI Aiah's viral statement: "yes to setting boundaries"

Aiah Arceta of BINI previously addressed an incident that happened at a bar in Cebu and narrated how people would frequently run up to her to take photos or even post her real-time location.

She admitted that this made her feel uncomfortable and invaded her privacy. Aiah clarified that while she loves taking pictures with fans, everyone must respect her personal space and privacy.

One of the prominent voices supporting Aiah's message was the internationally acclaimed singer and actress, Lea Salonga. Lea took to her social media to express her agreement with Aiah's sentiments.

She reposted Rappler's coverage of Aiah's statement and added her own caption, "yes to setting boundaries," highlighting her stance on the importance of respecting personal space.

BINI is an all-girl Pinoy pop group formed by ABS-CBN Star Hunt Academy. Their members consist of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. In November of 2020, BINI released their pre-debut single, “Da Coconut Nut.”

In a previous report by KAMI, A cute video of three of the BINI members during one of their concerts has gone viral. In the video shared by @yy_consonants one could see Jho, Sheena and Colet onstage. Sheena and Colet already dropped on the floor, but Jho was not able to do so. Sheena had to tug at Jho's, who fortunately understood and sat down, but the expressions on Sheena and Colet's faces gave them away.

Earlier, OPM singer-songwriter Maki dedicated a heartfelt post to Maloi Ricalde of BINI. After performing again with the P-pop girl group, Maki took to Instagram Stories and recalled the time when he and Maloi became friends. He also talked about his experience working with Maloi in his “Dilaw” music video. Maki concluded his earnest post by sharing how proud they are of each other’s achievements.
