The man in the viral video of a bar incident in Cebu involving BINI Aiah has issued a public apology. The male bar-goer received backlash for suddenly moving his face too close to the BINI member.
Following the incident, the male fan named AJ Fernan messaged the P-pop idol and apologized to her. He later posted screenshots of his message along with a caption that reads, “Here’s my take, I am really sorry.”
In his message, AJ apologized if he made Aiah uncomfortable. He clarified that it was never his aim to scare, kiss, or smell her.

AJ explained that his only intention was to tell Aiah that she is pretty. However, the music was so loud, which prompted him to move very close to the artist.
He also admitted that he crossed the line and failed to consider what Aiah might have felt about his actions.
Furthermore, AJ extended his sincerest apologies to Aiah’s management, fans dubbed Blooms, family, and friends.

BINI is an all-girl Pinoy pop group formed by ABS-CBN Star Hunt Academy. Their members consist of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. In November of 2020, BINI released their pre-debut single, “Da Coconut Nut.”
