She also said that she thought back then that Dominic would be the man whom she would be with for the rest of her life, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen because of some things they failed to see eye to eye with.

“I saw myself marrying this man. But sometimes, things don’t go according to plan. Sometimes God’s plan is better, and I have learnt to embrace that,” Bea said during the interview.

Bea also said it wasn’t easy for both of them to decide to end their relationship.

She revealed that before they came to that decision, they still tried to work things out for many months, which indicates the breakup did not happen overnight as some rumors would like people to believe.

“Before we announced it, we had been trying to work things out for months. It’s not like it happened overnight; it was a process for both of us...We tried to patch things up, but it did not work,” Bea said.
“It always takes two to tango. Sometimes relationships don’t work, and that’s fine. The two people in the relationship are the only ones who know the truth. In my case with Dom, we didn’t want to get married anymore,” the actress said.

It can be recalled that Bea said in an interview with Nelson Canlas, as quoted by the Inquirer.net, that she wasn't the one who initiated the breakup.

"Actually, that’s false. Hindi ako ang nakipag-break," the actress said.

"I’m OK. I’m happy, actually. Everything is OK," Bea concluded.

Bea Alonzo, or Phylbert Angelli Ranollo Fagestrom in real life, is a Pinay actress, model, and former singer. In a separate interview last month with Nelson Canlas, Bea shared that she was not the one who initiated her breakup with actor Dominic Roque. The actress prefers not to elaborate on the details to respect their past relationship. She also emphasized that their split was amicable and that they are on good terms. According to Bea, she wishes to leave their relationship in the past and move forward respectfully.

More recently, meanwhile, the legal team of the actress has responded to a report by columnist Cristy Fermin about a labor complaint filed by her former driver, Efren Torres Delos Reyes Jr. The complaint includes issues like unpaid wages and illegal dismissal. Bea’s team questioned the timing and intent of the complaint, suggesting it is connected to ongoing legal disputes and a romantic relationship between Efren and a non-showbiz respondent in Bea’s cyberlibel case. They also claimed that Efren only worked for the family for three months and was not her personal driver.
