Jessy Mendiola, a Filipina actress, penned a lengthy series of messages about her showbiz comeback this year, after her contract signing.

Earlier, Jessy returned to Star Magic and ABS-CBN and did a contract signing with them, delighting many of her fans on social media.

Following her showbiz comeback, Jessy penned a message about it, revealing she once accepted the fact she could no longer return to showbiz.

"Ang totoo niyan, tanggap ko na hindi na ako makakabalik at magiging active sa showbiz. And that's okay with me! Sobrang nabigyan ako ng oras ni Lord na mag-focus sa family ko at sa sarili ko. Mas nakilala ko na sarili ko ngayon at feeling ko nasa tamang space na 'ko to join showbiz again," she confessed.

Aside from this, Jessy also admitted to not reading the comments due to the negativity.

"Iniiwasan ko magbasa ng comments, masyado kasi ang daming nega pero alam kong mas maraming nagmamahal sakin... Tulad niyo! Maraming salamat talaga," she wrote.

Jessy Mendiola is an actress, product endorser, and model from the Philippines. She was one of the artists launched under Star Magic batch 15 by ABS-CBN. She starred in the lead role for the Filipino adaptation of the Mexican telenovela 'Maria Mercedes' which catapulted her into stardom. She is married to actor and television host, Luis Manzano, the son of showbiz legends Vilma Santos and Edu Manzano. Luis and Jessy already have a child named Isabella Rose or Baby Peanut.
