Furthermore, she expressed gratitude for her rehab doctor, who provided her with valuable guidance and treatments like platelet-rich plasma therapy.

Rica highlighted the importance of not giving up and continually seeking answers to her health issues.

"A shoutout to my very patient and caring rehab doc, @rehabmed.md @markedmontan who has been helping me figure out what is wrong my legs. I was consistently running for two weeks when I felt a pain in my right foot and calves which eventually revealed to be scar tissue and trapped nerves. It took a while to make all the swelling to go down, add to that I got into an accident midway and fell on my hip. That caused me another muscle strain on the back and generally my body has been in a shocked and defensive state eversince. (Added runner’s knees and another thigh strain pa to it!) If it weren’t for Doc Mark, I probably would have given up all sorts of movement but his availability and generous explanations helped me understand my problems and how to solve them. (One important solution: DON’T STOP MOVING.)"

Maxene Magalona, ikwinento ang unang general checkup niya

"So far, I’ve done two rounds of platelet-rich-plasma with him and after two months, some symptoms are clearing up. Few more weeks maybe and I am praying to be completely pain-free. (I still have one more scan to go to also to figure out why I have repeated symptoms in one part. Mostly a neural concern.)"
"It’s been such a journey but one thing encourages me: our bodies heal. They untangle. They are able to recover, even from trauma. (When I fell, I got traumatised big time.) but you need the right people, diagnosis, treatment, to get through it all. Glad I got someone who believes in the most natural way possible and also a whole lot of movement to get better! (can I just add: MAKUKIT AKONG TAO I WILL NOT STOP LOOKING FOR SOLUTIONS IF YOU KEEP TELLING ME THERE IS ONE so if u are injured or are in pain my advice is: DON’T STOP LOOKING FOR THE ANSWER.)"
