The Barangay Tanod responsible for the violent killing of the golden retriever named Killua and putting him inside a sack afterwards has been formally charged in court.
This was after the Iriga City Provincial Prosecution Service found probable cause for the Barangay Tanod, Anthony Solares, to be charged in a court of law.
Apparently, the prosecutor handling the case did not give any merit to the defense of Solares saying he killed the dog because it was already aggressive and had bitten several people.
In his resolution, Iriga City Prosecutor Wilhenry M. Villar stated: “subjecting Killua to such cruelty and maltreatment will never be justified.”

The Philippine National Police, together with the body for combating organized crime filed the non-bailable charge against the suspended mayor. Both the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) filed the complaint to the Department of Justice (DOJ). The charges were for violations of Republic Act No. 9208, or the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.
Meanwhile, an example of a video that went viral then was later debunked to be fake was that of the Coco Martin look-alike video that trended on social media recently. In an update on their own page, the creators pointed out the "Made with AI" label on top of the video. The man who was said to be the Coco Martin look-alike was also unmasked. Earlier, eagle-eyed netizens pointed out several anomalies that led to the discovery of the video as fake.
