Megan Young, a former beauty queen, admitted she cried and shed tears after working out for the first time since her doctor cleared her.

In an Instagram post on her account, @meganbata, the former beauty queen uploaded two photos of herself at the gym, working out.

According to Megan, she started off by lifting some light weights, with her husband, Mikael Daez, being there to guide and motivate her.

"I started lifting really light. Fofo was there to guide me and he really kept motivating me! Wag ko lang daw sabihin na "di ko kaya" hahahaha try ko raw muna," she wrote.

However, what tugged at the hearts of netizens was Megan's admission that she cried when she finally did a workout for the first time.

"After my first workout since my doctor cleared me, naiyak ako. I was so weak! I really felt like napabayaan ko sarili ko. Even if I was getting back on track, it felt like an uphill battle. I didn't feel as strong as I used to," she wrote.

Megan Young is a Filipina actress who won the title of Miss World 2013. She started as a contestant on the reality television show StarStruck and later became a member of ABS-CBN's Star Magic. She is now married to Mikael Daez.
