Rica Peralejo, a former actress, just penned a tear-worthy note about her son, Manu, on his 5th birthday, and netizens are gushing about it.

On Sunday, June 9, Rica took to her Instagram and posted a throwback video to when she gave birth to her second son with Joseph Bonifacio.

She then penned a lovely note about her son, Manu, saying he brought with him healing to her body, heart, their marriage, and family life.

"I was ready to love you with all I’ve got but what I wasn’t prepared for was how you’d love me back. You came to us bringing healing, to my body, my heart, our marriage, our family life. Emmanuel Raphael, God is with us and God heals. Five years of this, amen. I asked out loud what I did to be able to have you and you had the best answer, 'You prayed for me, remember?'" she recalled.

By the end of her online post, Rica said, after experiencing many heartbreaks, Manu came along.

"After so many heartbreaks, you came along. You are my greatest reminder that we should never stop praying for good and worthy things. ILYSM. Papa, Kuya, and I, are far happier today than if it were just the three of us. Praise God for adding you to our lives. Happy 5th," she wrote.
