Derek Ramsay, in his latest online post, warmed the hearts of netizens as he penned a sweet greeting for his mother, Remedios Ramsay.

On Sunday, May 12, the bankable actor uploaded a stunning photo of his mom on his official page on the photo-sharing app, Instagram.

He then penned a sweet and heartfelt Mother's Day message for his mother, thanking her for being the best mother out there in the universe.

According to Derek, his mom has the toughest job but she somehow manages to make it look so easy, touching the hearts of netizens online.

"Thank you so so much for being the best mother in the entire universe. You have the toughest job in the world but you make it look so easy! I love you, Mama. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY," he wrote.

In the comment section, tons of netizens followed suit and greeted Derek's mom on the special occasion this year.

Derek Ramsay is one of the most sought-after leading men in the Philippines. He starred in critically acclaimed films, such as "No Other Woman" and "English Only, Please.” Derek’s celebrity ex-girlfriends include Angelica Panganiban, Solenn Heussaff, Cristine Reyes, Joanne Villablanca, and Andrea Torres. He is now married to Ellen Adarna.

As previously reported by KAMI, Derek Ramsay is currently mourning the loss of his pet dog, Riri. On his Instagram page, the actor posted a photo of his beloved late dog. It is worth noting that Riri is among Derek's six dogs, namely; Habibi, Lowfat, Tyson, Shakira, and Skye. His dog, Skye, also passed away back in 2021, which he announced via Instagram.

In the video, Ellen Adarna could be heard reassuring Derek of her love even if he turns into a worm. This, in return, prompted Derek to ask why he must turn into a worm of all creatures.
