Kris Bernal gets real on struggles of breastfeeding exclusively: "Hanggat may gatas, kakayanin"

Kris Bernal took to IG Stories and expressed her struggles about breastfeeding exclusively.

She narrated that there were times that she felt like giving up exclusively breastfeeding, but she did not considering that it is the best.

She also gave encouraging words to breastfeeding mothers, saying that they are not alone and that she feels them.

"8 months of breastfeeding and I'll be honest that I struggle with the pressure to feed very regularly, to produce an adequate amount of freshly pumped milk as my baby doesn't drink stored or frozen milk, as well as the lack of sleep due to nighttime feeding as my baby still wakes up every 2-3 hours or every hour."

"As a result, I find myself feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and struggling with my mental health and, is greatly affecting my well-being. I'm close to giving up breastfeeding exclusively. But, breast is best and I'm blessed!"

Kris Bernal is a Filipina actress who rose to prominence after winning in the fourth season of the reality-based talent search "StarStruck" on GMA Network. She is married to businessman Perry Choi, and she had one of the grandest weddings among celebrities the year she got married. Kris gave birth to her adorable baby girl, Hailee Lucca, on August 15, 2023 through a CS procedure.

Recently, the actress also took to IG Stories and shared her thoughts on exclusively breastfeeding. The actress admitted that on some days, it was simply really hard. She also wrote some encouraging words to all new moms who are simply non-stop from the time they wake up. Kris said that she feels them and that she is them, but she knows that things will all surely get better.

In another social media post, Kris showcased what appeared to be a new milestone for her daughter, baby Hailee Lucca. In the photo that Kris shared, one can see the adorable baby in a sitting position. According to the actress, baby Hailee is already practicing sitting up on her own.
