Sharon Cuneta, in a recent post on Instagram, shared several photos from the birthday “salubong” of her Mama Helen Gamboa.

“Birthday salubong of Mama Helen in Baguio with Mom & Dad and my sisters with my Mielly!❤️,” Sharon wrote as caption in her post.

Based on her post, the birthday “salubong” took place at a location in Baguio City.

She also expressed her love for her Mama Helen, whom Sharon regarded as her second mother. Helen and Sharon’s mom, Elaine Gamboa, are sisters.

"Happy birthday Mama! We love you!❤️," Shawie said.

Seen on the photos that the Megastar shared were former Senator Tito Sotto, Ciara Sotto, and other members of Tito Sotto’s family.

Sharon’s daughter, Miel Pangilinan, was also seen in one of the photos, though it’s not clear if there were other members from the Megastar’s family who attended the birthday “salubong.”

Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the 'Megastar' in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, she tied the knot with Kiko Pangilinan.

In another social media post, Shawie shared a quote about someone not required to be “nice.” The said quote also talked about how the author allegedly became used and disrespected because he was being nice. It also differentiated “nice” from being “good,” indicating that the author may not be nice but he or she is a good person. Like an earlier quote she also shared, Mega gave an indication that she agrees with what the quote espouses.
