Kris Bernal, a well-known celebrity mom, stirred social media buzz after writing an honest yet inspiring message about motherhood.

On Saturday, April 20, Kris took to her Instagram page, @krisbernal, to upload an adorable reel she took with her unica hija, Hailee Lucca.

In the viral video, Kris could be seen sniffing and kissing Baby Hailee repeatedly which had the latter bursting into peals of laughter.

However, what had caught the attention of netizens was Kris' lengthy post about motherhood and her 8-month postpartum condition.

"I realized that there’s no such thing as being poorly exhausted, sick, tired, overwhelmed, or burnt out when you’re a mom. You just have to keep on going, and somehow I do. I know I can’t be perfect 100% of the time. But, I always give 100%, whatever that may look like at the time. And, for that bewitching innocent gummy smile, how could I not muster the strength to go on?" she asked.

Halfway through her post, Kris said that while she is still struggling identifying her new self, she knows she will get through it eventually.

"8 months old, 8 months postpartum - still struggling identifying the new me, trying to find peace, and going through the motions. And, just like other mothers, I know that I will get through this period. I will miss this season. It will get better and I will find myself again in time," she wrote.

Apparently, she and Perry Choi have yet to find a "yaya" and "house helper" for the family. Despite the situation, Kris said she is grateful to have a spouse like Perry.
