Kim Chiu is a Filipina-Chinese actress and television host. She broke through in showbiz after becoming a winner in Pinoy Big Brother. She was born on April 19, 1990, in Cebu City to Chinese businessman William Chiu and Louella Yap. Kim is also known as the “Chinita Princess” and was once hailed as the “Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.” She has broken up with Xian Lim, her almost 12-year boyfriend.

In a previous report by KAMI, Kim Chiu, in one of her online posts, expressed her disbelief for "It's Showtime" and GMA-7. On Instagram, Kim uploaded a new reel about their grand production number on the network. In her post, Kim expressed wonder that the noontime show is finally airing on the Kapuso channel. Likewise, Kim also thanked the 'Madlang Kapuso' for watching the show and for their warm welcome.

Earlier, Kim Chiu recalled her slight moment of mishap on "It's Showtime." On the noontime show, Kim did a heartstopping performance for the 'madlang people.' During the performance, however, Kim's foot almost got stuck in the rope. She then thanked the Lord in her post for successfully removing her foot from the rope afterward.
