Bela Padilla, in a recent post on Instagram Stories, has declared that instead of “AngBeKi,” her trio with Kim Chiu and Angelica Panganiban, would temporarily be called “DaBeKi,” with the addition of singer Darren Espanto.

The actress-director said that they’re changing their group name temporarily as Angge is not there with them at present and taking her place on a temporary basis is singer Darren Espanto.

“Dahil wala si @iamangelicap dabeki muna kami @chinitaprincess @darren espanto,” Bela wrote in a caption to her post on IG Stories.

The trio, composed of Angelica, Bela, and Kim, have started calling themselves “AngBeKi” ever since meeting each other at a party and becoming very close friends since that event.

The members of the group has been present in various momentous occasions, like the wedding of Angelica to her husband, Gregg Homan, and other important events.

Based on previous posts, “AngBeKi” apparently were also aware of the rocky situation between Kim and Xian, and might have also been among the first to know about the breakup of the coupls.

Bela Padilla is a famous Filipina showbiz personality. Her recent project, “Miracle in Cell No. 7” became the top grosser during the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019. Aside from being an actress, she is also an accomplished screenwriter.

Recently, Bela hung out with good friends, Kim Chiu and Angelica Panganiban. On Instagram, Bela uploaded a new video she took with her 'AngBeKi' squad. The said dance video was the 'Tinitigan Ko, Nilapitan Ko' trend on TikTok. As of this writing, Bela's post earned 2.6m views on Instagram alone.

Early this year, Angelica penned a sweet note for Kim Chiu and Bela Padilla. On Instagram, Angelica had posted a series of photos that were taken from the wedding. She then tagged Bela and Kim in her post, thanking the two for coming to LA for the event. In her post, Angelica said it felt like she also married the two when she married Gregg Homan.
