“It’s Showtime” is currently making headlines due to its premiere on the main channel of GMA on Saturday, April 6.

During the said episode, several stars from Sparkle GMA Artist Center appeared on the noontime show as guests.

Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, Mikee Quintos, Jillian Ward, Nadine Samonte, Gabbi Garcia, Jhake Vargas, Sanya Lopez, Glaiza de Castro, and Chanty of Lapillus joined the hosts and gamely played in the program’s fun segment “Karaokids.”

Before their appearance, Christian took to Instagram Stories and shared a video of him with his fellow Kapuso artists at the show’s backstage.

They cheerfully shouted “What’s Up, Madlang People” in front of a television displaying Vice Ganda’s pasabog opening number.

Vice Ganda delivered a heartwarming speech at the “It’s Showtime sa GMA: The Contract Signing” event. During the event, GMA and ABS-CBN executives formalized their deal on airing “It’s Showtime” on GMA’s main channel. In his speech, Vice Ganda talked about the historical and transformative moment and earnestly thanked the Kapuso network for another warm welcome. Meanwhile, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, and Kim Chiu got emotional due to their fellow host’s touching speech.

“It’s Showtime” hosts also made the rounds all over social media after ABS-CBN News shared a video of them heading to GMA Network Center for the contract signing. The hosts traveled from ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center to the building of the Kapuso network via a sparkling float.
