Following this news, Pebbles Duque, one of Danica's best friends, came to Facebook to debunk such rumors on her official account.

According to Pebbles, the photo was an old one, "That photo was taken before pa Feb 16. My best friend Danica and him have a very beautiful family."

Following this news, netizens noticed that Danica had already left a comment on Pebbles' post saying, "Kalma, miga! We love you" to which Pebbles replied, "Buti ka pa kalma!"
