Giselle Töngi, more popularly known as G Töngi, posted on social media a tribute to Jaclyn Jose, who died of a heart attack last March 2 at the age of 60.

On her Instagram page, the Swiss-Filipino actress shared a couple of photos of her with Jaclyn.

In the caption, Giselle shared, “The last film I made just last year directed by @cocomartin_ph, I had a chance to spend time on the set with the Philippine cinema legend Jaclyn Jose.”

She also shared the story behind the lovely snapshots.

“This photo was taken at Yamashiro, very late that night. We were all tired but when the cameras rolled, watching her work was like a master class. The other photo was taken with @cheenacrab on the steps of the restaurant.”

She went on to earnestly react to the Cannes-winning actress’s sudden demise.

“Her untimely passing has left a lot of us stunned. The Philippine industry and entire country is mourning.”

Giselle likewise extended her condolences to Andi Eigenmann, the daughter of Jaclyn with the late actor Mark Gil.

“Sending my deepest and sincerest condolences to @andieigengirl.”

Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, also known by her stage name Jaclyn Jose, was a Filipino cinema and TV actress who had earned international critical acclaim. Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma'Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.

Andi is currently grieving over Jaclyn’s sudden demise. The veteran actress passed away on March 2 at the age of 60. A couple of days after her mother’s demise, Andi shared a meaningful post on Instagram Stories. Her post contains a poem about feeling the presence of a loved one through the sun, rain, and wind.

Andi’s daughter Ellie Ejercito reshared on Instagram Stories a post about Jaclyn and Cherie Gil. The post initially published by Instagram user @thisaintseth shows a lovely photo of the two late veteran actresses. Cherie passed away on August 5, 2022, while Jaclyn died last March 2.
