Anne Curtis, in a video post on Instagram, shared the simple but fun and meaningful birthday celebration of her daughter, Dahlia Amélie.

The actress and TV host also revealed that they spent the weekend to celebrate her daughter’s fourth birthday.

Anne also said that she was thinking about giving Dahlia a big party, but it also got her thinking about whether it's what really her daughter wants.

“A week ago we spent the weekend away to celebrate the 4th year of life of our little one. I guess as parents we tend to overthink if our kids need a big party and whether or not that’s what will make them happy,” Anne said in her post.

She then said she realized that being in a close-knit and loving environment is way better.

“I’m sure it does BUT what we realized is that sometimes being in a fun, close knit and loving environment with her family and besties, is more than enough,” the TV host and actress added.

Anne did mention one humorous moment and that was when Dahlia asked her when would the little mermaid show start.

“She did ask when the little mermaid show was going to start though ♀️) Happy Birthday to our Dahlia Amélie,” Anne said.
