- Sen. Robin Padilla, in an interview by PikaPika, revealed he was unable to make Kylie stop crying when they all learned that Jaclyn Jose has passed away

- In his interview, the legislator revealed that he and Kylie were together abroad when they heard about the news

- He said that when Kylie learned about the passing of Jaclyn, she cried profusely they were strolling around the “Lion City”

- The senator said that he understands Kylie as she and Jaclyn became very close as they worked together in the TV series “Bolera”

Sen. Robin Padilla revealed in an interview by PikaPika that he wasn’t able to make Kylie stop crying when they learned about the untimely demise of Jaclyn Jose.

In his interview, the senator revealed he and Kylie were together in Singapore at the time when they heard about the sad news.

“Nasa Singapore ako, e. Magkasama kami ni Kylie. Tumawag si Boss Betchay Vidanes, sinabi nga’ng ganu’n,” Robin said.

The legislator said that they were strolling around the “Lion City” when they heard the news, which caused Kylie to cry profusely.

“Si Kylie habang naglalakad kami, iyak nang iyak. Kung mga 30 minutes kaming naglalakad, iyak nang iyak si Kylie,” the senator said.

He also said that he understands Kylie because she and Jaclyn became very close when they became co-stars in the TV series “Bolera.”

“Magkasama sila sa…’yong bilyar… Bolera. Hindi ko mapatahan si Kylie, eh. Nagulat ako kasi hindi ko alam na meron silang bond. Naunahan ako ng ano, e… Saka nakakabigla, e,” Sen. Robin said.

He said he just gave an advice to Kylie about facts of life and how one should be ready as no one knows when their time would come.

In a report by GMA News a few days ago, tributes for Jaclyn and messages of condolences for her family poured in from hundreds of Pinoy celebrities.

Among the celebrities who posted tributes were Alden Richards, Claudine Barretto, Jake Ejercito, and many more.

Meanwhile, in a report by PhilStar, Jaclyn’s sister, Veronica Jones, said she discovered a green bone among the cremated remains of the actress. She said it means that Jaclyn has a good heart.

Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, also known by her stage name Jaclyn Jose, was a Filipino cinema and TV actress who had earned international critical acclaim. Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma'Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.

Recently, Claudine Barretto, who was also very close to Jaclyn, in an interview by Ogie Diaz was asked by the latter what was her immediate reaction at the time she knew that the actress passed away. The actress recalled how there was an instance that Jaclyn called her "bastos" as she got so angry with her. Clau also revealed that because of that instance, Jaclyn did not talk to her for around two months.

In the same interview, she narrated how she became so emotional to the point of wanting it to be a bad dream upon waking up. Clau also ran to the house of Jaclyn, which was only 11 houses away, in her pajamas. She also said that when she woke up and the news sank in, she did not realize that she already kept on screaming.
