Andi Eigenmann, in a short eulogy that she delivered for her mother, Jaclyn Jose, on March 5, was filled with emotion.

“Ganu’n kalaki ’yong puso n’ya. Sobra, sobra, sobra n’ya kaming minahal," Andi added.

Andi also noted that Jaclyn loved her craft and has been very passionate about it.

Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, also known by her stage name Jaclyn Jose, was a Filipino cinema and TV actress who had earned international critical acclaim. Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma'Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.

Recently, international award-giving body Cannes Film Festival organization, through a heartwarming post on their official social media account, has once again honored the late actress Jaclyn Jose. In their post, which was written in French, the prestigious award-giving body said they remembered the face of Jaclyn as one beaming with emotion when she received her award in 2016.
