Andi Eigenmann recently shared on Instagram Stories what appeared like a teaser of a photo exhibit about her mother, the late Jaclyn Jose.
The black and white poster-type graphics that Andi shared on IG shows a portrait of the late veteran actress, showing her seemingly deep in thought as she looked in the distance.
The tagline of the said ad-card contained the words “in commemoration” of the actress.
It also described the life she lived as one that was full of characters.

In a press conference a couple of days ago, Andi revealed that her mom, Jaclyn, died of myocardial infarction, or generally referred to in layman’s terms as ‘heart attack’.
Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck, also known by her stage name Jaclyn Jose, was a Filipino cinema and TV actress who had earned international critical acclaim. Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma'Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.
Recently, international award-giving body Cannes Film Festival organization, through a heartwarming post on their official social media account, has once again honored the late actress Jaclyn Jose. In their post, which was written in French, the prestigious award giving body said they remembered the face of Jaclyn as one beaming with emotion when she received her award in 2016. The organization also said Jaclyn embodies a woman of "grace and humanity." It can be recalled that the late actress won the Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Award in 2016 for her portrayal in Ma’ Rosa, the only Filipino to have won such an award so far.
Meanwhile, in a separate post about Jaclyn on the Instagram page of KOWAlerts, netizens remembered her and Rico Yan, and noted that both are already together in heaven. Jaclyn played the role of Nay Magda in "Mula Sa Puso" while Rico played the role of Gabriel. Many netizens felt sad and melancholic remembering their roles in the iconic teleserye.
