Legendary actress Jaclyn Jose, who died on March 2 at age 60 due to a heart attack, shared her insightful perspective on parenting during an interview on Ogie Diaz's YouTube channel two years ago, which has resurfaced following her passing.

"Maaaring tayo ang nagluwal sa kanila at nagbigay ng buhay. Pero huwag natin kalimutan na may buhay din sila at may karapatan na ipaglaban kung ano ang sa tingin nila ay tama. Makinig din tayo sa kanila at hindi porke nanay tayo at anak sila, lagi na tayong tama.”
"Alam ko kung paano ko sila pinalaki. May respeto, may pagmamahal, marunong makisama sa kapwa, magalang. Pag duda ka sa pagpapalaki mo, ikaw na may problema. Kung alam mo na pinalaki mo nang tama, magtiwala ka," she said.
