Jake Ejercito, in his latest post on social media, gave a lot of credit to the late Jaclyn Jose for how he survived the early years of fatherhood.

On March 5, Tuesday, the famous Kapamilya actor penned a heartfelt tribute to the late veteran actress on his official account on Instagram.

According to Jake, of Jaclyn's many iconic roles, her being a grandmother to Ellie was "one she cherished the most."

He then gave credit to the late actress for how he survived the "early years of fatherhood" thanks to her guidance.

"Of her many iconic roles, being a grandmother was one she cherished the most, especially to Ellie. I surely wouldn't have survived those early years of fatherhood without your guidance. We rolled with the punches together—anything and everything just for Ellie," he wrote.

On Instagram, Jake said that Jaclyn's passing has left a void in Ellie's heart, saying they will attempt to fill it "for the rest of our days."

"You've left a void in Ellie's heart that we could only attempt to fill for the rest of our days. But I'll give it my best shot and make sure she'll be ok. Maraming salamat sa lahat, tita. You were loved, specially by your Ellie," he wrote.

Jake Ejercito is a Filipino actor who has starred in several movies such as Marry Me, Marry You, Mansyon, and Coming Home. He was born on March 27, 1990, to actress Laarni Enriquez and actor-turned-politician former President Joseph “Erap” Ejercito Estrada. He is also known for being the father of Ellie, his daughter with Andi Eigenmann.

Meanwhile, Jake Ejercito, on one of his social media pages, recently published a new post. The said post was that of him and Ellie Eigenmann recreating their photos together. In the caption, Jake revealed the old photos dated all the way back to 2019, when they were in Hong Kong. They then recreated the photos while they were in Florida at the Walt Disney World in 2024.
