Philmar Alipayo, a professional surfer, recently took to social media to give his fans and followers a much-needed update about his injury.

Earlier, Philmar made headlines when he recently revealed he had been caught in an accident while he was out doing some quick surfing.

According to Philmar, in his earlier post about the incident, the tail of his board hit him by the neck, resulting in a painful injury around the area.

Following this news, Philmar gave an update to his fans and followers, saying he thinks he is okay but still needs to get a check-up.

Aside from this, Philmar thanked everyone for reaching out to him and wishing him well.

"Thanks to everyone who reached out and wished me well. I think I'm ok but still need to get checked because my neck is hurt and swollen, will try to go home tomorrow. It depends how I will feel and the weather because we are only taking a small boat to go back to Siargao. Salamar karajaw," he wrote.

Philmar Alipayo, also known as Chepoxz, is a Pinoy surfer, celebrity personality, and more popularly known as the fiancé of actress Andi Eigenmann. Philmar was born in 1992 and established himself as an expert surfer in Siargao. He met the actress on the island and eventually, they became romantic partners. They are currently living on the paradise island of Siargao with their kids.

Meanwhile, Andi Eigenmann took to her IG Stories and shared a photo of Philmar, being attached to a dextrose. She then revealed that her fiancé contracted dengue, a mosquito-borne disease. The actress said Philmar would always be the one taking care of them and his situation is a reminder that he should take care of himself.
